Biography ~Counseling Perspectives is a company I created in 2003. My professional passion is to help people who struggle with issues of addiction. Addiction is very difficult to admit, to treat and to understand. My goal is to help people create a balanced lifestyle. ~My areas of special interests are relapse prevention and neurological disorders due to alcohol/drug use. Along with continued study and research on neuroplasticity, neurotransmitter dysregulation., and cellular rejuvenation. I have conducted a number of public speaking events addressing such topics, along with addressing the specific variances of older adults and addiction.
~I have spent the last three years growing the services at Counseling Perspectives. Previously, I was the program director at Walker Methodist Chemical Health Program. It was an outpatient treatment program treating older adults.
~My educational background: First degree psychology Second degree: addiction counseling. I am a licensed alcohol and drug counselor in the state of Minnesota. I have been in the field of addiction for twelve years.
